Chemaly Rita is a Human Rights activist, scholar and senior consultant on women's, gender and human rights, specialized in gender strategies, UNSCR1325, GBV. Author, Researcher, Consultant on citizenship, public policies, Governance, Communication and gender. RITA CHEMALY, is Lebanese, she holds a D.E.A. in political and administrative sciences. Author of the book the "Spring 2005 in Lebanon between Myths and Realities", Winner of The Samir Kassir Award for the freedom of the press, Consultant on Project Development for the National Commission for Lebanese Women, University professor of Political Sciences at Saint Joseph University. Responsible of projects with many NGOs, governmental institutions and International Organizations working in the field of Human Rights and Development in Lebanon.
