The People (We the People) are playing the most important role in the Arab World.
In Lebanon in 2005, peaceful collective actions by a huge mass of mobilized citizen were able to make a cabinet Leave, and the Syrian army leave, and the independence of Lebanon Be. The story of the Lebanese spring was made in 2005 by the people, the young, the university youth, and the help of a coalition of political forces.
In Tunis a boy that had a university degree was able by his nonetheless violent action (burn himself) to mobilize his fellows against an unbearable social situation. Judges, doctors, women and men, without sexual differences, or gender and class differences demanded that the dictator leave.
In Egypt few of what I call” e-activists” were able to organize marches, and protests, in a closed system, that usually close roads, follow activists in metro-stations, and intimidate all kind of opposition, by a well formed police against all kind of Human rights of speech and group.
Those few e-activists were able to mobilize millions of people in Egypt and in the World for their cause against the Regime of Mubarak, they were able by their tenacity and will to down the pharaoh, even against the will of first “class” nations, that were lobbying for a smooth transition, forgetting that people’s lives were cut in an un-smooth manner!
In Yemen, People are trying to remove a dictator from its place, a well kept place since years and decades.
In Bahrein, bloggers and activists are being arrested, and tortured and intimidated with allegations on them being terrorists,
People have been killed while they were protesting in a beautiful square, the pearl square in a peaceful way;
In Libya the story is the same, massive protests are being organized, the voices are loud and clear, No to a Bloody regim, No to Dictatorship”…
But as in Tunis, in Bahrein, in Egypt, unarmed demonstrators are being massacred. This time not only, with horses and “baltajy” but with planes. The dictator is using the pilots of the Nation, to crush the multiplication of the non violent democratic movements that are occupying multiple streets in many cities by the people of the Nation. Unarmed demonstrators are tortured, killed, firebombed, molested, and the synonyms are many, and the bloody actions of the dictator’s are many… but the People will decide What they want, the Way they want.
People of all Nations, decades of tyranny, brutality, despotism, nepotism, are over, When you the People declares a Game Over.
We did it once in Lebanon, but our system, the political system needs a change, a complete make over, and we will voice out our frustration, against a political forces that are playing with our well-being, we will say like you Game Over with the bad social Situation we are all living.
